Mr. Hal Jefferson Burnsed - Garden City - Mr. Hal Jefferson Burnsed, 63, died Thursday at Candler Hospital. The Chatham County native was retired from Stone Container and was president of the Stone Container Federal Credit Union for a number of years. He was the coordinator of Dixieland Cruisers for the past three years, president of Our Gang Car Club, and past president of Locals 650 & 21 International Machinists. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eulie and Estelle Burnsed. Survivors include his children Ronnie Thompson of Guyton; Pamela Sheffield of Springfield; Lisa Parker of Clyo; Susan Burnsed of Rincon; four grandchildren; sister, Patricia Burnsed Blissett of Garden City; brother, Jimmy Burnsed of Richmond Hill and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2006 at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 26, 2006 at Forest Lawn.
