John (Johnny) Bowen Lance, Jr. - SAVANNAH - John (Johnny) Bowen Lance, Jr., 72, of Townsend, GA and Savannah, GA, died Wednesday October 9, 2007 at Hospice of the Golden Isles in Brunswick, GA. He was born in Savannah, GA, graduated from Benedictine Military School, and retired from Kemira, Inc. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve, the Georgia Air National Guard, was a member of the Chatham Artillery, Dixie Land Cruisers Car Club, TWA Motor Cycles Club and the Cobra Club. He is survived by his wife, Anita Lance of Townsend, GA; three sons, Bert Lance of Savannah, GA, Ricky Lee of Savannah, GA and Jamie Lee of Venice, FL; one daughter, Melanie Lance of Savannah, GA; one brother, William (Billy) H. Lance (Robin) of Savannah, GA; eight grandchildren, Jordan, Ricky, Sage, Elizabeth, Chloe, Stephen, Joseph and Hunter. Visitation: 6-8 pm Friday October 12, 2007 at Fairhaven Funeral Home.
